Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ORA Metrics ("ORA," "we," "us") collects when you visit orametrics.com, how we use it, and who you can contact with questions. We built ORA to be read, not signed up for: there are no visitor accounts, and we keep the data we touch to a minimum.

Information we collect

Like nearly every website, our server automatically logs standard technical data on each request: IP address, browser/device type, the page requested, and timestamps. We use these logs only to keep the site running (performance, abuse and bot detection, troubleshooting) and do not sell or share them.

We do not require or offer visitor accounts, and we do not ask you for personal information (name, email, payment details) anywhere on the public site.

Cookies and local storage

ORA does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The one piece of browser storage we use is a local, on-device preference (light/dark mode) saved via your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

ORA Metrics participates in the Amazon Associates program. Product links on our reports may be affiliate links, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you; see our Methodology page for how that never influences a verdict or score. When you click through to Amazon or any other third-party site, that site's own privacy policy and cookies apply, not ours; we don't control and aren't responsible for how they handle your data.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers (for example, our CDN/DNS provider) may process standard technical request data as part of delivering the site to you, under their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

ORA Metrics is a general-audience product research site, not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Your choices

Because we don't collect personal information or run tracking cookies, there's generally nothing tied to you to access or delete. If you believe we hold information about you and want it reviewed or removed, email us and we'll look into it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top always reflects the latest version; material changes will be reflected here directly since we have no accounts or emails to notify.
